I'll do some research on Himling/Himring yet once I get my hands on all of the HoMEs ;) I really appreciate you draw Silmarillion landscapes- there's too few of them around. Maybe I'll be lucky to come across Himring (while it still stood) and Lake Helevorn in your gallery one day ;) | ||||

I'm glad you like my picture. It would be nice if you dropped some some comments at other pictures, too.
About the oneness of Himling and Himring - I am not sure if a have read it anywhere in Tolkien's work by myself, but first: I think it's highly logical supposition because of it's location and the information about preserving several parts of land after the destruction of Beleriand. And second: If you look for example in The Encyclopedia of Arda, there it is stated and I believe it's a reasonable source...
